Automated Scheduled Record

MediaFire Automated Scheduled Record (ASR) gives you automatic recording of satellite or other inputs with high-end multi-stream audio/video recording. MediaFire ASR converts traditional audio and video signals into studio-quality MPEG-2 digital streams. These can then be stored on a hard drive and/or transferred via a network, ultimately to be decoded with a MediaFire Video Server or any other MPEG-2 compliant server for broadcast or personal viewing.

MediaFire ASR creates the primary digital stream at any of a number of video resolutions, including MPEG-2 D1, MPEG-2 4:2:2 profile, MPEG-2 half D1 and MPEG-1 SIF. It supports simultaneous MPEG-4 encoding for browsing and streaming purposes.
