Digital Broadcast Establishes Sales Arms in Latin America

The Company Partners with Companies within Latin AmericaTo Provide Resident Sales and Support

Gainesville, FL, July 17, 2009 – Digital Broadcast, a leading producer of master control and newsroom automation products, announced today sales and service relationships with several prominent Latin American companies. This follows Digital Broadcast’s recent establishment of a Latin American and Caribbean division announced at NAB 2009.

Headed by Sales Manager Juanchy Mejia, the new division is tasked with marketing Digital Broadcast’s extensive product line to Latin American and the Caribbean. The product line includes:

MediaFire Automated Master Control System, a full-featured master control automation system with built-in automation;
MediaFire Central a centralized broadcast system in which multiple stations can be controlled and spots can be regionalized from a central site;
MediaFire ASI which provides ingest of compressed ASI output from digital satellite receivers;
NewsBank Automated Newsroom System that consolidates servers and editing functions so that news stories can be received, edited and automatically aired according to rundowns provided via MOS interfaces to newsroom computer systems;
MediaVault Archive that provides mass storage of broadcast media via blu-ray or LTO4 tape technology;
MediaFire Safety Net, a disaster recovery system that provides complete on-air functions off-site in the event the station is unable to maintain on-air operations;
MediaView verification recorder that offers ongoing verification of multiple off-air feeds.
