System Allow Stations to Record and Verify Off-Air Feeds

Gainesville, FL, April 12, 2007 – Digital Broadcast, a leading producer of master control and newsroom automation products, has rolled out multiple units of its MediaView Verification Recorders including systems to ten ComCorp stations in Texas and Louisiana.

Digital Broadcast’s MediaView provides continuous recording of off-air feeds and allows any access-permitted desktop computer to review the stored material. Storing up to a year’s worth of off-air feeds per station, MediaView offers quick search capability plus easy recording of defined segments for email attachments. It can also provide simultaneous comparison of multiple station off-air feeds.

MediaView allows stations to check their over-the-air advertising as well as monitor other stations. It also provides an easy way to verify that music license agreements and rights have been properly used by the station.

MediaView offers search capability by date and time stamp as well as step and/or scrub forward or backward functions. By defining a mark in/mark out point, a clip can be created that can then be emailed or saved to an external storage medium.
