Digital Broadcast to Unveil HD Server at NAB2005

System Provides Ingest and Play-to-Air Server

Gainesville, FL, March 15, 2005 – Digital Broadcast announced today that it will introduce its full-featured MediaFire HD Server at NAB2005 in Las Vegas.

The Media Bank HD provides encoding, storage and random access streaming of MPEG-2 HD content. HD encoded files are stored using familiar Windows® files and folders. MediaFire’s integral automation provides automatic playout of the on-air schedule. The system readily addresses broadcasting’s increasing HD applications including HD programming ingest and playback and spot insertion.

MediaFire HD comes standard with numerous redundancy features for maximum reliability. These include RAID 1 storage for the operating system, RAID 5 storage for media and hot swappable redundant power supplies.
